/lumentechnologies. The Role The Lead Product Owner is the member of the team responsible for identifying and defining Features that need to be supported by one or more Agile teams. Further, the Lead Product Owner collaborates with the Product Manager and other Product Owners to help prioritize and plan to deliver maximum business value. The Lead Product Owner is expected to be a beacon of functional domain knowledge for the team and support conceptual solutioning of the Capabilities, Features and stories that becomes an input to the Planning and Execution activities. The Lead Product Owner will ensure that PI deliverables are completed by the deadline and are accurate. This person will maintain the team's backlog as well as all materials and decks required for IT and senior leadership updates. The Main Responsibilities o Understands complex distributed systems and how they support business processes. o Transform the high-level vision of the Product Manager into detailed requirements in the form of features and stories. o Maintain the work backlog of the teams o Understanding of end-to-end governance and IT processes (guide team on timelines and what is needed to keep projects moving from one stage to the next) o Ability to understand when projects are getting off track and escalate appropriately to keep things moving o Maintain accurate statuses and tracking of projects and provide access of real time tracking to teams o Works collaboratively with other members of the organization to facilitate, explore, and decide upon solution alternatives to business problems and supports the cost/benefit analysis of design alternatives while considering the long-term roadmap o Works closely with business partners and technical staff to create technical solutions that meet business and technical requirements. o Able to influence the work of others to drive medium & large projects to successful completion through effective collaboration, customer interaction, and IT coordination o Works in relevant structures (e.g., PI planning, Sprint planning, Scrum of Scrums) to manage dependencies and set priorities across multiple teams and Backlog items and to maintain alignment to the Product Vision and Release roadmap o Ability to organize and prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines. o Excellent negotiating and persuasive skills. o Ability to motivate others, use good teamwork skills, including development of interdepartmental relationships and the ability to make complex decisions. o Comfortable with the ambiguities and uncertainties that arise in the early storming and forming phases of new, large initiative programs - and be exceptional in helping teams move from strategic plans to tactical implementation. o Excellent communication, writing, presentation, and team facilitation skills. Salary Range:
$80K -- $150K
Minimum Qualification
Technical Product ManagementEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
