This position will be part-time with an estimated 20 hours per week, we are flexible on days and specific times, you can work 3 - 4 days a week and some Saturdays could be required.
This role could be become full-time as you gain experience and the store grows! Must Haves - A strong background in supervising and managing employees.
We have approximately 20 employees that you will help our store manager oversee.
- Strong communication skills and a high EQ (Emotional Intelligence).
We are looking for someone who recognizes hard work.
You will work with staff to make sure they are providing top level of care and ensure a safe and healthy environment for the dogs in our care.
This person MUST love dogs- and, upon successful completion of training, you can even bring YOUR dog to work with you for free daycare.
Your journey will begin with training in our playrooms to learn what our employees' shifts are like and the challenges they face.
This is a key part of being able to manage employees and for relating to customers when talking to them about their dog.
Team Management:
Your primary roles will revolve around HR and personnel.
Confidently lead staff by example and ensuring we maintain a positive work environment.
Handle interstaff issues and apply coaching and disciplinary tools when needed.
Creates staffing schedule and helps monitor daily schedules Maintains optimum staffing and development with all employees Leads by example by coaching all on contributing to a positive team-oriented culture Delivers written performance reviews and gives employees positive acknowledgment when due! Continuously motivate, train, and develop operations employees with a major focus on excellent customer service, exemplary cleaning and safety standards, strong dog control and care Oversee weekly work schedules for back of house operations employees Conducts monthly one-on-one coaching sessions with all back of house team members making sure all staff are living up to our Dogtopia-isms Communicate, track, and assist the General Manager with significant pet parent, employee, and canine behavioral and canine health issues and/or concerns Actively assist in interviewing, hiring, onboarding, and training operations team members Onboard all employees and insure each employee has the correct amount of training Maintain and update cleaning schedule, along with holding themselves and team accountable to the Dogtopia's safety and cleaning standards.
Inventory Management of cleaning, dog and First aid supplies.
Dismisses dogs proactively with ongoing behavior issues and monitors action plans to retain those with minor issues.
Customer Service and Presentation:
As a Manager, you will also at times be working with our customers to ensure our customer experience exceeds the highest standards.
Maintains a neat and organized.
Sets the example for the team o the 3 S's (smile, story, and satisfaction) and holds them accountable to internal and external customer service standards.
Keeps the team members engaged in their duties.

The Team Manager will have a minimum 3 years of experience interacting with customers.
This is a role for someone with team management skills who understands hard work, how to deliver and train others to provide top customer service and ensure a great environment for the dogs in our care.
You will be a positive, reliable role model to employees at all times The Team Manager is responsible for maintaining scheduling and training for a team of 15 or more employees.
Will be co-responsible for store sales with Shift Leaders through converting leads via phone and online by getting customers to come in store for Meet & Greets.
